Pattern Matcher
Overview
The Pattern Matcher tool generates a swing list between two selected mouse points and measures the highs and lows (in percent and bars). The Pattern Matcher will then run through the entire chart to find other instances where that same pattern occurred.
To add the tool to your chart, select the tool from the toolbox, and left-click on the first bar you want to calculate the tool from. Next, left-click on the bar where you want to calculate the tool to. Optuma will then draw the matching patterns using the default settings (Green for Exact Match, Red for Inverted Match).
Scripting Function: PATTERNMATCHER()
