Square of 9 Intervals
Overview
Similar to the Dynamic Square of 9 tool for price levels, the Square of 9 Intervals calculates dates based on the original Square of 9 wheel chart. By selecting a start date and putting it at the centre of the square the tool calculates the future dates based on selected angles (eg 360 degrees) for each revolution around the wheel.
The example below is for 360-degree levels starting on June 4th. One complete revolution around the Square of Nine wheel chart is 9, so the first date calculated by the tool is June 12th (the starting date is counted as the first day). The second revolution around the wheel is 25 days or June 28th, then 49 (July 22nd), 81 (August 23rd), and so on.
To add the tool to your chart, select the tool from the Gann tool group, and left-click on the bar on the chart you wish to calculate the tool from. Optuma will then draw the tool using the default settings.
