Prompts
Overview
The Workspace menu allows you to adjust and control the parameters for the Charts, General Settings, Prompts, Timers, and Visual in Optuma.
The Workspace menu is accessed from the Settings menu.
Prompts
The Prompts section is used to control what Optuma displays and does when closing unnamed workbooks, saving templates and deleting pages, scans, and back-tests.
Add new template to toolbar: This provides the same 3 options: Prompt, Always, and Never. By default this is set to Prompt, on this setting Optuma will prompt the user with an option on whether to save the template to the Templates folder on the toolbar. When set to Always, the template will be automatically saved to the Templates folder on the toolbar. When set to Never, templates will not be saved to the Templates folder on the toolbar.
Show change to single page layout prompt: When enabled, if you have tiled pages and are about to apply a page layout that is for a single chart you will be prompted to confirm before the change is made.
Show delete breadth prompt: Applicable to Professional Services only. When enabled, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion of any saved Market Breadth chart scripts.
Show delete custom code prompt: When enabled, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion of any custom codes.
Show delete group prompt: When enabled, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion of any groups.
Show delete scan/back test prompt: When enabled, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion of any saved scans or back-tests.
Show geo tool prompt: When enabled, when adding a Geometric tool, you will be prompted to confirm the Geometric Time-Price Ratio lock. For more information on this, click here.
Show update script prompt: When enabled, you will be prompted to confirm whether you want to update an existing script with any changes that you have just made.
