Concentric Circle
Overview
Concentric Circles are used to draw circles that are probable values of support and resistance. Like the single Circle tool, the Concentric Circles tool uses the chart’s time/price ratio in its calculation.
The circles are calculated by specifying a starting point in the market, and then moving the cursor to the right until the base circle is the desired size. The other circles are then calculated as a percentage of the original circle (which can be set to custom levels).
To add the tool to your chart, select the tool from the Levels tool group, and left-click on a point where you wish to start drawing the Concentric circles. Next, left-click on your second desired point. Optuma will then draw the tool using the default settings. Change the tool’s Price Unit property to match the time/price ratio value in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Apply Settings to All: When multiple Concentric Circles tools have been applied to a chart, page or workbook, this action can be used to apply the settings of the one selected to other instances of the tool. Copy Tool: Allows you to copy the selected tool, which can then be pasted onto a different chart window.
Move to Back: If the tool is displaying in front of other tools or indicators clicking this action will move the tool view to the background.
Move to Front: If the tool is displaying behind other tools or indicators on the chart, clicking this action will bring the tool to the forefront.
Restore Default Settings: Click this action if you have adjusted the default settings of the tool, and wish to return to the standard properties originally installed with Optuma.
