How Do I Remove Shadows around Symbols when I print to PDF?
The printing feature in Optuma automatically opens the chart in your default PDF viewer, such as Adobe Reader. If your charts include symbols it is possible that ‘shadows’ or artifacts are visible, as seen around these arrows:
To remove them you will need to adjust a smoothing option in the PDF preferences. Below are instructions for Adobe:
- Click Edit menu and select Preferences:
- From the Page Display category, uncheck the Smooth Images option and click OK.
