How to Whitelist emails from Optuma¶
Overview¶
If you are not receiving emails from Optuma such as replies to tickets you submit or password reset emails, then you will want to whitelist Optuma’s email addresses.
Gmail¶
Sign into your account at gmail.com
Add the Address to your Contacts¶
Go to your contacts page (https://contacts.google.com/) and add the Optuma support email to your contacts: support@optuma.com
Mark messages as “Not Spam”¶
Use this method if emails from Optuma have previously been marked as spam and you wish to whitelist these emails.
- In Gmail, go to the spam folder.
- Locate and select the emails you want to whitelist.
- Click More and then select Not Spam.
Create a Filter for the Address¶
You can create a filter to tell Google to whitelist an email from a certain domain.
- Click the cog icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- Select Filters and Blocked Addresses and then click on Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter the Optuma domain as the email domain you want to whitelist: optuma.com
- Click Create Filter.
- In the option box that opens up, select Never send it to Spam.
- Click Create Filter.
Outlook¶
Sign into your account at outlook.com
Add the Address to your Contacts
- Click on the cog icon in the top-right corner and select More mail settings.
- Select Safe and blocked senders and then Safe senders.
- Add the Optuma domain as the email domain you want to whitelist: optuma.com
- Return to Safe and blocked senders and select Safe mailing lists.
- Add the Optuma support email to the list of Safe mailing lists: support@optuma.com
Yahoo! Mail¶
Sign into your account at outlook.com
Add the Address to your Contacts
- Hover your mouse over the Settings menu icon and select Settings.
- Click Filters and then select Add.
- Enter a Filter name.
- Enter the Optuma domain as the email domain you want to whitelist: optuma.com
- Select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to.
- Click Save and then click Save again.
